History: Taylor was born and raised in LA. She was born to Haley Stanford and Roger "Appleseed' Lansing, who lived on a commune of sorts. While parents were fully into the New Age/pagan scene of California, and they brought up their daughter (and later younger daughter and son) in their world. While her siblings didn't buy into it as much growing up, Taylor went along with it completely. She grew up believing that a crystal had healing powers, that the majority of the herbs you could grow had mystic properties, and that anything that grew in nature was OK to take, including any naturally growing drugs like pot and mushrooms.

Her parents also believed in free love (and not in marriage) and taught their children about that as well. Taylor was given the book 'The Joy of Sex' to read when she was about five in order to learn about the 'naturalness' of sex between two consenting adults. Maybe a little freaky, but it was the world that she was brought up in. She was also home schooled, so her education heavily favored certain things and completely looked over other things. She's able to completely rebuild an old truck and can grow the better part of any plant she can get her hands on, but ask her to name the first five presidents of the United States and she's not going to have a clue as to what to tell you.

When she got old enough to move out on her own (fifteen, in her parents opinion), she moved into a tiny studio apartment not too far from the commune her parents continue to live on to this day. While her siblings seemed to take the route of having a more 'normal' life, Taylor continued to go down the unbeaten path, much to her parents' delight. She had never been able to hold down a job for very long, but her parents have bailed her out of financial situations more than once. While they live on a commune, both came from very rich and indulgent families and have large trust funds which they touch more to pay their daughter's rent than to do anything for themselves.

She recently applied for a job at Saints & Sinners, since she found out that her ex-boyfriend, Ben Bale, owned it. She has no problem with the idea of taking off her clothes for guys, and simply seeing it as using a more natural way of making money as opposed to trying to remember people's orders at a restaurant.

Personality: Taylor comes off as flighty and somewhat hyper. She tends to flicker from subject to subject when she is talking to people, as if she has a case of ADHD. The main reason that she can't hold down a job or a relationship for the most part is partially because she has little sense of real responsibility, and she can simply forget that she's in a relationship if not...well, reminded. She's still a very sweet, caring girl, though. She simply comes off as dingy.
